Active Research Project 

• 2020-2023: Constraining rates and mechanisms of vertical movements of orogenic belts in space and through time by thermal and geochronological evolution of sedimentary successions and fault rocks. Progetto di Ricerca Grande di Ateneo, Sapienza Università di Roma. 
• 2019-2021: Obduction of ophiolites in the Alpine-Himalayan belt: a regional comparison via a multidisciplinary approach. Progetto di Ricerca Medio di Ateneo, Sapienza Università di Roma.
• 2020-2022: Rapporti tra fagliazione e fluidi nella zona della Val d’Agri. Research agreement with Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico, Direzione Generale per le Infrastrutture e la Sicurezza dei Sistemi Energetici e Geominerari.

• 2008-2016: associate editor of the journal Pure and Applied Geophysics.
• Invited Editor of a special issue entitled “The geology of the Periadriatic basin and the Adriatic Sea”, printed in 2012 in Marine and Petroleum Geology.
