Graduated in Physics from the University of Rome "la Sapienza" in 1991, PhD in Geophysics from Stanford University in 2001, Post-Doc Scientist at Berkeley University from 2001 to 2004, and Research Associate at Goettingen University from 2004 to 2006. In service at the Department of Earth Sciences as Adjunct Professor (Brain Return Program) from 2006 to 2010. Associate Professor of Geophysics of the Solid Earth (GEO / 10), from January 2011.
