Master’s degree in Geological Sciences at the University of Urbino “Carlo Bo” in 2001 and PhD in Earth Sciences in 2009. Post Doc position at the University of Urbino “Carlo Bo” and Sapienza University of Rome from 2009 until 2015, Assistant Professor (Tenure-track position) at the Sapienza University of Rome from 2015 until 2018. Since the 1st of October 2018 full-time Associate Professor in Physical Geography and Geomorphology at the same University.

Research Topics

1. Geomorphic response to climate change with a particular focus on the analysis of the indicators of the effects of climate fluctuations on both fluvial and coastal systems
2. Analysis of geomorphic processes acting along hillslopes due to gravity and surficial running waters
3. Enhancement of the techniques for the geomorphological survey and mapping in GIS environment, for the remote sensing from multi-sensor (optical, multi-spectral) and multi-platform (satellite and UAV) systems 
4. Spatial analysis of topographic and geomorphologic datasets
