Research Topics

1. Geomorphological survey in field and with remote sensing techniques;
2. Geomorphological mapping;
3. Geomorphometry and spatial analysis of topographic and geomorphological data;
4. GIS applications for the assessment and mitigation of geomorphological hazards;
5. Analysis of geomorphological process and landforms, primarily in mountain and coastal areas;
6. Multitemporal and historical analysis of landslide evolution;
7. Landslide hazard assessment, with particular regards to rockfall hazard;
8. Geomorphological heritage enhancement and geo-tourism development.
